Zebra stripes have three purposes. They act as camouflage to confuse their main predators:-- lions and hyenas. Scientists believe that because zebras live in herds, the mass of strips in the herd act as an optical illusion that confuses the predators so they don’t try to attack the herd alone.

About Diane Chinn
I am an artist, writer, student of life, and irredeemable nerd. I came to painting rather late in life and I love it. It feeds my soul like nothing else. I am addicted to bright, pure color as you see in my paintings. My art coach is working with me to break that addiction. Thank you for taking your time to look at my work. I hope you enjoy it.
