Richard Diebenkorn (1922 – 1993) was an American Abstract Expressionist artist. He was considered a California artist because he spent most of his life on the West Coast. In 1966, Diebenkorn moved from Berkley to Santa Monica where he found an art studio in the Ocean Park area. It was a beachfront neighborhood that was home to many artists.

I am an artist, writer, student of life, and irredeemable nerd. I came to painting rather late in life and I love it. It feeds my soul like nothing else. I am addicted to bright, pure color as you see in my paintings. My art coach is working with me to break that addiction. Thank you for taking your time to look at my work. I hope you enjoy it.
