Artist's Description
This is one of those paintings in which the watercolorist “experiments” with water and color to see how they move because sometimes, water seems to have a life of its own. I just call it plain ol’ fun or, in this case, “Splat!” Close your eyes and imagine throwing a very soft overripe tomato on the floor. That is the sound of splat.
