Artist's Description
On a recent rainy morning, I walked through the door of my fitness trainer's gym. Just as I stepped inside I looked down and saw three handtowels on the floor – yellow, green and red. The first thought that popped into my head was "Rothko color field painting. I could paint this." I laughed at myself as my trainer told me to wipe my feet so that I did not track water into the gym. I told him "I love the colors of your doormat. I could paint this." He laughed with me. We had a good workout session. Then, I went home and painted this picture. FYI, the little white rectangles on the red and yellow spaces represent the manufacturer's tags that we sticking out from under the towels.
