Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

This painting was inspired by an antique map of Lille, France circa 1613. Antique maps are my latest fascination, especially maps of places I have visited or want to visit. Lille is located in northeastern France, nine miles from the border with Belgium. It was often besieged and occupied by various forces throughout its history, especially in the Middle Ages, which is why the people of Lille dug a moat around their city to protect it from invaders.
Lille has had some notable people who were born or lived there. For example, biologist and chemist Louis Pasteur was the first Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Lille. He is best known for creating the first vaccines for rabies, cholera, and anthrax. He also developed the process for pasteurizing milk and fruit juices to eliminate harmful organisms and extend product shelf life.

I am an artist, writer, student of life, and irredeemable nerd. I came to painting rather late in life and I love it. It feeds my soul like nothing else.
